Colour and Health

The colours of vegetables are because of phytochemicals, which are compounds that also contains substances to fight against degenerative diseases and also they have good effects for our health and well-being. These phytochemicals aren´t vitamins neither minerals, they are also known as phytonutrients.


Phytonutrients don’t have nutritional values, but they are powerful antioxidants that we need  to protect our DNA preventing mutations like cancer, arthritis, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, cardiovascular failures, aging, etc. Also, these antioxidants help to detox and reinforce our immune system.
